Dear E.T. Wyman Parents ~
I am very happy to introduce a new program to help raise money for our school and its great programs.  It’s called ‘GLScrip”.

Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”.  When you purchase scrip, you’re purchasing prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, gasoline and other essentials, and with every purchase, you earn revenue for Wyman.  Better yet, your purchase is dollar for dollar at the face value of the card! Wyman parents produce revenue by making regular household purchases they would make anyway. One woman explained how participating in the program has actually helped save her money because when she’s spent the money on her grocery card – she’s knows she has hit the end of her budget until next month!

Attached is an order form. The initial collection date will be Friday November 6th .  Our plan is to collect orders on a monthly basis.  If you are planning on giving gift cards for the Holidays, please purchase them through our program so Wyman can benefit as well!  This is a pared-down list so if there is a retailer that you are interested in purchasing but do not see on the order form, do not hesitate to contact me, I can check for that retailer and you can write it in on your order form.  There is also a complete list at GLScrip.com.  Only orders received with a check will be processed.  Please double check your order form to be sure that you’ve added correctly.  There will be a $15 fee for bounced/returned checks.

Turn around time should be no longer than 10 days.  Depending on the popularity of the program, we may consider doing orders bi-weekly.  If you do not place an order this time, in the interest of saving paper, time and money, please save your order form – we will only send home new order forms to the families that do place orders this time.  

Please consider participating in this program; even if you only order one card.  The more we participate, the better for our school; more experiences and education for our kids!
